The Tsinghua School of Journalism and Communication

Established in 2002, Tsinghua School of Journalism and Communication (TSJC) has quickly emerged as one of China’s leading journalism schools. The school is renowned for its research in film and television, new media studies, international communications, and media management. It is one of the only four academic institutions offering a Ph.D. in communications in China.
TSJC’s 275 undergraduate and graduate students are selected on the basis of highly competitive nationwide exams. In addition, more than 2,000 part-time students pursue further study while working in areas ranging from government communication to broadcast management. The students are led by a diverse faculty of 26 full-time professors and lecturers, many of whom hold doctoral degrees and have studied abroad.
